Charity and fundraising for good causes are not something Kiron Haque, owner of the Taj Barming and Thaii Fusion restaurants in Maidstone and Sittingbourne respectively, shies away from. Having helped raise tens of thousands of pounds over the years for numerous local and international charities on a regular basis, Kiron has just pledged to do the Anti-Atlast mountain trek in Morocco to raise much-needed funds for a disabled children’s centre in The Gambia.
The target of £5000,00 is ambitious, but for those that know Kiron, he doesn’t do things by half, so we are very confident that we will not only raise the whole amount but also beat it.
The organising charity is Iqra International, of which Kiron is a patron, and a total of around 26 people are on this trek, including one of our team from Thaii Fusion and Kiron’s son.
We will be posting pictures on our social media streams of their progress, so follow and engage with us by clicking:
Please join in and support the cause by logging in to Kiron’s Justgiving page >HERE<. All contributions welcome, no amount too big or small. Help make a difference to these children’s lives.
